And now a word from or sponsor...

Image
FAUX NEWS REPORT.... This just in.   National Guard forces were defeated today in an all-out assault on Ogden Utah; this could very well be the end of life as we know it.... And now a word from our sponsor- Blammo! It's better than bad, it’s good!         The shipment has arrived at WGF Utah and will begin shipping in bulk on Monday. This process could take anywhere from seven to fourteen days depending on how many of you opted to wait on your shipping. WGF are bringing in extra staff to deal with the project and expedite the process.   Kickstarter backers will start receiving your shipping confirmations next week.   Retail sales will commence once all backers orders have been shipped.

Note to self:

Dear self: you are a lazy dumbass that's trying to be too ambitious. Normally, I would tell you to just give up and cut back, but you've dug this swimming pool, now you gotta FILL IT WITH WATER! Thanks, self. You're an asshole. I know . Anyway, gonna be streaming tonight. I would still REALLY like to make the end of the month deadline, but that will depend entirely on how things go tonight. And if I'm honest with myself...I just don't have enough time to do it. So the release might be delayed a couple of days, but I'm still hoping to get it out sooner rather than later. As some of you may know, I work a day job that is both boring and slow, and as a result, I have a notebook in which I come up with various ideas for this (and other) game(s). Well, today, I had kind of a brainstorm. In addition to several process improvements for certain functions (no more disappearing phone numbers or shoes, for example), I also came up with a way to make your apartment more...p...

Completely Exhausted...

...but gonna try to code anyway. I want to finish at least the informant tonight, and then all I have to do is the individual girl actions, which will involve a lot of cutting and pasting and modification. Edit: considering I almost fell asleep at my computer a couple of times, I think I'm just gonna go to bed or something. More tomorrow.

Some amazing conversion work on the OOP resin kit

Image
Holy Buh-Jezus! Take a look at what Warchild40k did with one of the limited edition 15mm scale resin kits.  Keep in mind this was a solid block of resin, that is a hell of a lot of work. I just love the use of the votive candle lights to make the stacks flicker. Very creative! Cheers! Mark

Saturday Night Streaming

So...looking over the code for Futa Balls and the Busker side job, I couldn't find anything missing. So they're done until a playthrough that I'm not going to do turns up the multitude of errors that are sure to be included in the content. With those done, the only thing left is...nuns! Stream is up, trying to hit that planned release date of the end of the month.

CURB STOMP

Image
Just a bit of eye candy. I was working on box art for the Mortis and thought I would render out this amusing scene ;) The Mortis braces itself on a nearby building while using its scythe arm to provide further stability and commences to  administer a good old fashioned curb stomp. Repeatedly smashing the light mech into the broken pavement. The commander of the light mech must have really pissed off the pilot of the Mortis to provoke such a brutal response.

BREAKING NEWS- Eisenkern forces invade Los Angeles!

Image
On Monday, January 21st. Roughly 65,000 Eisenkern troopers supported by a legion of over 1200 Leviathans landed on US soil. Los Angeles California was rocked by an unstoppable wave of destruction.  In related news, a fleet of transport ships have taken up position over Utah and appear to be waiting for the armored spearhead.   What do they want? Why are they here? The only transmission sent by this invading force: “We are the Eisenkern, we have come in peace”.   Cutting a clear path North East, at their current pace and trajectory they are anticipated to reach Utah and link up with their transports sometime next week. The only thing clear to us is that Utah is not their final destination….   A coded message has been sent to key personnel (Update# 86) with further instructions.   Promo shots from Battle:LA copyright Sony Pictures. Update #86 The cargo container has arrived at the Port of LA and will be making its trip to WGF Utah as we speak. At this time ...

Well then...

Sorry, this weekend did not turn out how I expected it to. I did get some coding in, but not nearly as much as I wanted to (i.e. maybe an hour, unstreamed, instead of the four or five I wanted to do on Saturday). But I'll be back to coding tonight, for at least an hour, and then hopefully the same every night this week. Gotta get that nunnery all sexed up!

Tip/Trick: New Super Mario Bros. Wii - World 2 - Course 1 - 3rd Coin

Many people are trying to figure out how to get the 3rd Coin in Course 1. Before you start, push on 1 to get a propeller. If you don't have any propellers, either go to a RED Toad House or complete another course that involves a propeller. Right after that, go back to World 2 to Course 1. This one is the one with the sand gysers. Start by using the propeller by shaking the Wii Remote. Try not to get hit by a creature while you hae the propeller with you. If you DO get hit, start all over and this time, try to be a little more careful. Keep going until you find the 3rd Star Coin in a very unusual place, which you might think "but if I try to get the 3rd Star Coin, I might lose a life". Well, if you use your propeller, then you won't have to lose a life. Fall where the coin is at, then shake your remote quickly to get on another gyser. You got the coin! Now hurry to the goal to save your game. To save your game, push + on your remote, push the button "Save", ...

Tip/Trick: New Super Mario Bros. DS - World 4 - Course 2 - Double Jump "Marathon"

This one is a bit tricky. Open the course that's in World 4 as Course 2. This one is with the purple stick lands that whenever you get on them they make you slide off. Start by doing a double jump, which is dashing and jumping at least 3 or 4 times (it's not exactly a double jump; you'll need to jump a few times before you do it).  Right after you pass the flag, start doing it more. If you fall or get hit, start at the flag and do a double jump until you get to the hill. When you get to the hill, start doing it more often. This helps increase your skills! Do it more often to do it a lot faster than usual.

What's the deal?

At this point, everyone (even me) is wonder what the bloody hell is taking so long with this update, so I figured I'd give you a brief heads-up on where things stand. Crime and punishment is done for now. There will eventually be the option to seduce your guard and either sex him up or knock him out and escape, which would be bad for your criminal record. However, everything that's possible to get arrested for is implemented, and the time in jail can be spent somewhat productively (but it's still a massive waste of time because it is  a punishment). Futa Balls is actually mostly done...except that when I was looking at the code, I realized I forgot to add the actual "growth" part of it. So that shouldn't take long, but it's still something that needs to be done. The busker job is 90% finished: you can get a busker license and go out with your guitar (or just your voice) and make some additional money based on where you choose to sing, what you wear, and yo...

Stream Time Over

What it says.

Punked Out

Sorry about the no code stream last night. The wife is out of town, which I thought would be cool for a change of pace, but ended up just making me kind of depressed. I'll be streaming tonight and tomorrow night. Oh, and, fun fact: I now have to work Thursdays, which means that I get Saturdays off (yay weekends!), but no more Thursday day streams. Still going to stream at night as much as possible, though. I'm actually planning to stream the next three days at least, because I want to get this update out as much as you want to play it.

Tip/Trick: New Super Mario Bros. DS - World 8 - Course 10 - 1-Up Trick

On the DS version, there's a 1-Up Trick on Course 10 in World 8 you can do. Enter in the course, first of all. This course is the one with the melting rock falling out of the sky. Dash as fast as you can and try NOT to get caught by the bombs and the melted rock. Keep going until you get to the midway point, which is when a flag jumps onto the screen. Go back to where a mini tube is. Jump up, and a box will appear that has a Star in it. Grab the Star and DASH!!! Hit as much bombs as you can. If you hit a melted rock with the Star, it will just smash into pieces. You might get approximately 4 to 6 1-Ups. When you see the goal, jump up as high as you can to get another 1-Up, but I wasn't able to really do this. ^^ But I could do this trick! :) Congrats if you did it right! If you didn't do it right, try again; eventually you'll get it right! :D

To hell with your fluff!

Image
To hell with your fluff, tell me a story with your miniatures. Let’s face it, fluff is huge part of the draw to a game and should not be underestimated; when it comes time to play a game, what is more important the fluff or the visually striking miniatures that grace the gaming table. There is only so much you can do with a base box set of miniatures before they start looking homogeneous. I love making special characters, miniatures that represent a scene or action, miniatures that tell a story through their pose or actions. With this in mind I created the Stormtrooper accessory set. This kit contains a massive number of parts, packs, pouches, accessories, heads, arms, hands and equipment so that you can tell your personal story and unlock your creative genius.   Here are just a few examples of what can be done. Granted I will not win any modeling or hobby awards with what is featured here, my lack of cleanup and exuberant use of glue keep these from being show pieces, but this...

First wave release instructions peek

Image
The first stage items will be landing in the US soon. While I work away on the stage three items, I thought I would post up the instruction inserts so you can begin your mental build ;) Do to time limitations we did not get some of the inserts in the box before they made the sea voyage, the poor folks at WGF Utah will be folding and inserting these into the Stormtrooper sets. Cheers! Mark

Stream Time

Got some free time today, gonna do some nun brothel...ry. Feels nice to actually be at the point of adding content for this stuff.

More work?

Time for some coding. Did some over the weekend, but working on a netbook is...difficult at best. So let's see how far we can get today.

First shipment heading to WFG Utah!

Image
Just a heads up, the shipment left China last week (Dec 29th) to start its sea voyage, so we are still on track for it landing in Utah the last week of January. We filled a 40 foot container just for the KS backs ;) there was another shipment that left shortly after for the retailers stock. Fingers crossed, this will be a common occurrence :-P

Homework is Down, calling for Exfiltration

I don't know what the deal is with that subject line. Anyway, streaming. Other than cleaning up some later today, I don't have anything to do, so let's see how far I can get.
